FAQs
Am I a candidate for waxing?
Waxing is effective on all skin and hair types, however if you are prone to developing ingrowns, we recommend laser hair removal instead of waxing.
How many treatments do I need?
You need one treatment to remove all of your hair, however, hair will continue to regrow and you will need to continue to wax every 3-8 weeks dependent upon how quickly your hair grows.
What will I notice after my treatments and over the course of my treatments?
You will see the results immediately post-treatment. Your hair will be removed from the root of the follicle. You may be slightly red after treatment and should avoid sweating or workouts for 8 hours to avoid irritation.
Is waxing hygienic?
Yes, we never double dip or recycle our wax to ensure you have clean, hygienic experience every time.
What does the treatment feel like? Does it hurt?
It generally depends on the individual. However, a slight stinging sensation may occur when the laser pulses. Some areas of the body tend to be more sensitive than others. We have topical numbing cream available which can be applied 30 minutes before a treatment to minimize discomfort.
How long does each treatment take?
Treatment time is mostly dependent upon the body area being treated and amount of hair growth. Smaller areas such as the lip or chin take a few minutes, whereas full body may take over an hour.
How do I prepare for my wax treatment?
We recommend that individuals have 2–3 weeks of hair growth for the best experience.
What areas of the body can be treated?
Virtually all areas of the body can be safely and effectively treated. If you’d like to learn more about waxing, or if you want to make an appointment, contact us today.
