FAQs
Is Forma safe?
Yes, Forma is safe for your skin. The device has a built-in software algorithm that ensures that the cut-off temperature is controlled in real time. When the device senses that the skin has reached the required skin temperature, it automatically reduces the radio frequency energy.
What are commonly treated areas?
Commonly treated areas on the face include the forehead, around the eyes, upper eyelids, lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, jowls, smile lines, and neck. Forma can also be used on the body, including arms, abdomen, knees and any other areas that have loose skin.
What are the benefits of Forma?
Forma will bring you immediate improvements in skin tightness, skin texture, fine lines and wrinkles, and can even work to reduce deep wrinkles. As a result of this, you will feel confident to wear swimsuits, shorts, and tank tops again and enjoy a younger appearance you once thought was lost.
What can I expect at my treatment?
Before your treatment begins, a cool conductive gel is applied to the area that will be treated. Then we massage the device over the treatment area. You will feel a hot sensation, but it will not be painful. Once the treatment is finished, we will apply a cool towel to the area and wash away any gel. Finally, we’ll apply a post-treatment cream for a refreshing finish.
How many treatments will I need?
Every patient comes to us with different issues. If you have minimal skin damage, you are likely to see dramatic and long-lasting results within 1–2 treatments. Those with more extensive skin damage or sagging skin can see fantastic results with a few additional treatments. Schedule your consultation with our specialist today and they will be able to tell you how many treatments you’ll need for your skin.
