We are seeking a Massage Therapist to join our fast-paced, patient-centered medical spa team, providing therapeutic and relaxing bodywork in a calm, supportive environment.
This role is ideal for a licensed professional who is both technically skilled and genuinely empathetic, and who takes pride in helping clients feel better in their bodies while maintaining a professional, reassuring presence.
As an integral member of our clinical and wellness team, you will deliver individualized massage treatments, support overall treatment plans, and collaborate closely with providers and front desk staff. You will help create a seamless experience from consultation through aftercare, ensuring that each client feels heard, respected, and well cared for at every visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thoughtful intake conversations to understand each client’s goals, concerns, and relevant health history, and tailor each session accordingly.
- Provide professional, high-quality massage within your licensing scope, using appropriate techniques to address pain, tension, stress, and overall well-being.
- Adjust pressure, techniques, and positioning throughout the session based on client feedback, comfort, and therapeutic objectives.
- Educate clients on general wellness, self-care, and post-treatment recommendations to help extend the benefits of each session.
- Maintain accurate and complete session notes and documentation in line with practice standards and state requirements.
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and prepared between clients, and follow all sanitation, safety, and infection-control protocols.
- Collaborate with the wider team to support a cohesive, hospitality-driven experience that aligns massage services with the broader offerings of the medical spa.
What We’re Looking For
- A licensed Massage Therapist in good standing, meeting all state education, licensing, and continuing education requirements.
- Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of anatomy, pressure, and body mechanics, with the ability to adapt to different body types and conditions.
- A warm, grounded presence and excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen carefully and explain what to expect in a clear, reassuring way.
- Consistent professionalism, punctuality, and respect for client boundaries, privacy, and comfort.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with back-to-back sessions while maintaining high standards of care and focus.
- Experience in a spa, medical spa, or clinical setting is preferred; a strong commitment to patient-centered care is essential.
